On the cover of Time Magazine there is the word "Change" and soon to be Majority of the Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.
However, I don't really see this as a change at all. The reason for this is our government was dysfunctional and still is. This hasn't changed and all of us know this.
When did our government become this dysfunctional?
I personally trace this back to when the popular vote (the People) voted in Gore over Bush in the 2000 elections. However, the Supreme court put Bush in over Gore.
When I intuitively and logically go back to where it all went wrong this was the moment.
Nothing has ever been right with this country ever since.
And it seems to be getting worse and worse every year now instead.
How do we fix this?
I'm not sure.
But, I can diagnose that this was the moment that everything went wrong.
It is sort of like when President Kennedy was assassinated.
It screwed the whole country up and things didn't really even start to recover from this until maybe the 1980s.
So, maybe it will take 20 years to recover from this mistake too.
Change?
IF it is a change it it not a good one for our future.
However, if we look at steps like a pathway maybe we can find a better pathway for America and the world somehow through all this incredible mess we are living through now.
20 years from the 2000 elections after all isn't that far away like in 2020. 6 years from now.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
