Picked up my motor home at Medford Airport

About 15 days ago now I left my motor home parked at Medford Airport in Long Term parking. Luckily, it was only 9 dollars a day to leave it there in long term parking not 15 and not 30 and not 50 like it is in many airports around the U.S. I remember in 1995 when my wife and I got married in Yosemite at the Chapel there and had a Reception at the Ahwahnee that we were paying 11 dollars a day for our 4runner 4 wheel drive Toyota Truck at San Francisco Long term parking and then we had to pay another 16 dollars a day to park our rental car at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu. At the time this was way more money than either of us could reconcile. However, another way to look at it was my wife had won the airline tickets and a week at the Sheraton Waikiki at a Raffle at her private  school. Because she was pregnant she got fired for being pregnant but we got to get married and have a honeymoon on Oahu and on Kauai at the Hyatt Poipu so it all worked out in the end. This was such an amazing experience for the two of us that we really felt married, her for the 1st time and me for the third time. So, at this point we see ourselves together for the rest of our lives at this point which is a good thing for us and for our kids and for our friends around the world.

So, this time when I picked up my motor home I realized I hadn't changed the oil recently and so we decided to go to a Jiffy lube to see if they took something as big as a Leisure Van from Canada like I have. Luckily, they had a 13 foot high bay so this worked. Then I asked what they could do in addition to changing oil and lubing the car. So, I wound up having wiper blades changed, transmission oil changed. Rear end oil changed, a synthetic blend put in as oil and a fan belt changed etc. etc. etc.

So, the motor home in some ways felt like a whole new vehicle when I got it back on the road. So, I was happy about that even as I was tired from driving from Portland to Medford today before having the motor home worked on.  So, about 500 dollars later my motor home felt very happy and cared for and quite ready for  traveling some more.
