The Proxy Wars

Syria is a proxy war between the Sunnis: Turkey, ISIS, Saudi Arabia, Jordan (and several other Sunni rules states against Iran, Assad and Russia and Hezbollah.

Iraq is a proxy war with ISIS on one side and Iran, the U.S. Iraq and most of Europe on the other side along with Jordan, Saudi Arabian Government, and all other Sunni Governments in the middle East.

Yemen is a proxy war primarily between IRan and Saudi Arabia. Iran is pretty much alone in this along with Hezbollah and the Houthis armed by Iran AGAINST Saudi Arabia, most Sunni Muslim nations, The U.S., Europe etc. And also strangely enough Al Qaeda and ISIS are fighting both the Houthis and each other in Yemen. So this makes it an extra strange place on this level too.

And you might also call the Ukraine another proxy war between Russia against NATO and the Ukrainian people and Ukraine Army.

These four proxy wars constitute what I might call "The Third World War" for lack of a better name or "The 2nd Cold War" which might be the best name for all this.
