New Etiquette for mass shootings

Since mass shootings have become not an everyday event but almost every week now somewhere in the U.S. I think it is important to change etiquette around guns.

For example, the most important thing is for police to say, "Drop your gun". The reason for this from now on is the person holding the gun might be a private citizen trying to make a citizen's arrest of a crazy shooter. The crazy shooter won't drop his gun because usually he wants to die anyway. Whereas the good samaritan trying to arrest the shooter would drop his guns for the police.

This appears to be the future of where we are going now. I think people are going to want to be more armed not less with this many mass shootings going on.

They will actually feel safer if more people are armed so they can potentially "Return fire to crazy shooters and if necessary kill the crazy shooters".

So, I think law enforcement needs to be more careful in regard to asking people to drop their guns because this is where we now are moving towards I believe.

Because police often cannot get there until everyone is dead. So, people on the scene with legal concealed weapons need to protect the victims before they are killed by a crazy shooter.

So, private citizens once again are becoming law enforcement in emergencies just like it always has been when law is far away like in the western states where populations are less.

When police or Sheriffs take 1/2 hour to an hour to get to your location, you always had to be the law or you were dead before they get there. It's like this around the world too.
