Political Balance?

I was reading about a lot of conservative victories in state elections this week but I was also thinking about "Why this is happening?" too.

Basically, I would say the driving force is that Republicans can no longer demographically even elect a conservative President into the White House. The last one was Reagan but likely that can't happen anymore. The last Bush said he was  compassionate conservative but if we are realistic he was more of a moderate like his Dad than anything else.

So, the inability of Republicans to EVER elect another president because they just don't have the numbers anymore is why everyone is freaking out so much. So, likely there will be this oppositional stance between Republicans and Democrats in Congress versus the President ongoing and this appears to the way this is going to go on for now.

Does this mean that Hillary is a shoe-in for President?

Not necessarily.

However, I believe her only real challenger at present would have been Jeb Bush, because I don't think you are going to get enough support for Carson or Trump in the election next year to elect either of them.

However, I could also be wrong because in a recent poll match up Carson and Hillary both received 47% of the vote in a poll because so many Independents voted for Carson in the poll.

So, in these politically turbulent and crazy times it's hard to say what is going to happen. I think the times most remind me of when Jimmy Carter was elected because of problems with Nixon and Ford.

So, Carter was sort of a fluke president and I suppose Carson could also be a fluke one term President too.

We are living in transitional times like we were when Jimmy Carter was elected once again.

So somehow the American people are going to create some sort of balance they can live with any way they can.
