The long term problem of Russia and ISIS Declaring war on each other

ISIS would like nothing more than to be fighting American Soldiers, unless it is Russian Soldiers. It looks like ISIS got it's wish.(at least in regard to Christian Russian Soldiers).

The problem with this is multi-fold. The first problem is the Russian plane (assumed to be bombed by ISIS) is drawing many ISIS new soldiers from places like Chechnya and Dagestan.

The second problem is that we may see the Russian mainland targeted by ISIS types of terrorist strikes like we saw in France in the last couple of years.

The third problem with this is completely eliminating ISIS as a country will only INCREASE Sunni Anger of 1.2 billion Sunnis for a variety of reasons.

So, Iran and Russia signing up in various ways to completely wipe out ISIS is only a temporary gain for the world. Until Sunnis in Syria and Northern Iraq actually have some rights again it is only going to cause much more bloodshed in the future.

So, the only ones actually able to escape the incredible sectarian war between Iranian Shiites and Sunni Arab Muslims seem to be the Sunnis and Shiite Muslims leaving for Europe.

So, this whole thing just got long term about 100 times worse. In the short run it is possible that ISIS will be defeated by Russia and Iran. But, in the long run this is really bad because it is only going to leave festering anger among 1.2 billion Sunni Muslims around the world.

Also, on top of everything else the Russian Orthodox Church has basically declared war on Sunnis in Syria.

So, all these things are why Obama has said the ONLY resolution to what is happening in the MIddle East is political. There are NO military solutions that will stand at this point.
