The exact thing is true of Trump. The way he is treating even his own people doesn't create loyalty it creates mistrust, anger and leaks. And they are only bound to get worse with Bannon strategizing the way he is. Neither Trump nor Bannon are people persons really. Trump is a Huckster and Bannon is an idea man. But neither is a people person who knows how to bring people together like EVery President who isn't a dictator must.
So, leaks are going to bring down Trump just like they brought down Nixon. Trump is heading into Nixon resignation territory right now.
We all see the writing on the wall, don't we?
Without secret sources like Deep Throat (who no one knew who he was until he was about dead in the 90s I believe? Nixon wouldn't have had to resign or be impeached and Ford wouldn't have had to pardon him to protect the office of presidency from further harm.
So, at this point secret unnamed sources from any Country will now bring Trump down. It is not if now only when.
So, likely Pence will have to pardon Trump after he resigns too to protect the presidency. It's interesting that Nixon and Ford were Republicans and Trump and Pence are Republicans too.
I wonder what that means?
The most likely thing it will mean is president Pence will serve a place in history much like President Ford did.
