A bump stock manufacturer has resumed selling the devices after it temporarily halted their sale in the wake of last month’s mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Slide Fire Solutions Inc. said Tuesday the devices are back on the market, despite bipartisan calls for their ban.
A dozen such devices, which allow semi-automatic guns to be fired as if they were automatic weapons, were found in gunman Stephen Paddock’s hotel room after he opened fire on a concert in Las Vegas on Oct. 1, killing 58 and injuring hundreds more.
The devices recovered from Paddock’s room were not linked to a specific manufacturer.
Slide Fire announced in a marketing email Tuesday that it would make bump stocks available for sale again, despite its limited inventory.

“We have not yet reached adequate inventory levels to offer sales of all products,” the company said, Bloomberg reported.
Senator Dianne Feinstein, a California Democrat, introduced a bill that would ban bump stocks following the shooting.
Slide Fire and faces additional hurdles, too.
Three concert attendees have filed a proposed class-action suit against it and other manufacturers. It seeks unspecified damages plus funds to pay for victims’ counseling and treatment for emotional distress.
