Bump stocks used by Las Vegas gunman are for sale again

(GEORGE FREY/REUTERS)Slide Fire Solutions Inc. said Tuesday the devices are back on the market, despite bipartisan calls for their ban.
A dozen such devices, which allow semi-automatic guns to be fired as if they were automatic weapons, were found in gunman Stephen Paddock’s hotel room after he opened fire on a concert in Las Vegas on Oct. 1, killing 58 and injuring hundreds more.
The devices recovered from Paddock’s room were not linked to a specific manufacturer.
Slide Fire announced in a marketing email Tuesday that it would make bump stocks available for sale again, despite its limited inventory.

Three concert attendees have filed a proposed class-action suit against it and other manufacturers. It seeks unspecified damages plus funds to pay for victims’ counseling and treatment for emotional distress.
