The thing with Bhajans is that they are spiritual songs set in a trance like cadence that put people in an altered spritual state of consciousness. So, I tried starting around 1968 or 1969 with three chord songs.
Some of my favorite chord combinations on the guitar were and are F, C and G or D, A and G
or you can also go into some of the other minor or major chords too.
If you are new say on the piano keeping whatever your write in the key of C with no sharps or flats often is the best way to start so you don't confuse yourself.
However, if you are already good at playing by ear but don't read music at all, go with your feelings and intuition in writing new things.
For me, music is about becoming one with the infinite universe and God and being swept away by emotions beyond which most people cannot even cope with at all.
It is a way to move into complete fearlessness in the arms of God and Angels if done correctly.
I suppose I was lucky to start with parents who were ministers who never smoked or drank so I was never physically abused.
So, maybe this was easy for me.
But, like all of you. This doesn't mean I wasn't ever psychologically or emotionally abused.
But, singing spiritual trance songs could take me to where I found I could be one with the angels and commune with God as much as possible.
And once you commune with God completely often you can go back to that state again, again and again for longer and longer periods of time each time you do this.

To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
