The most hazardous air quality appears to be around Yosemite National park in California

So, likely even the bear and deer and birds are coughing now there in Yosemite Valley

And it's good that they have evacuated likely Yosemite Valley because the fire (Ferguson Fire) is within 2 miles of the park boundaries last I noticed. It might still be possible (not sure) if Tuolumne Meadows area is still open because you could always escape for now by driving the Tioga Pass down to Mono Lake and Lee Vining near the Nevada Border with California.
