How can you help prevent human extinction here on earth?

One of many ways is to be a blogger.

By taking the time to do the research regarding all relevant things you help inform the human race worldwide on how to continue to stay alive and prosper as human beings.

Of course there are many other ways to prevent human extinction as well and I try to inform here about those ways too.

One of the biggest ways to understand the truth is to realize that only 1 billion people can be sustained (if we all live on the surface of the earth) long term (thousands of years). But, if we lived underground and only used the surface for recreation and farming likely we could sustain 13 or 14 billion people.

Why?

Because underground you don't have to worry about heating or cooling costs. They would be maybe 10% or less of what you pay now to heat or cool your homes. However, you would need recirculation fans to bring fresh air from the surface underground instead. But, heating and cooling no longer is a problem.

If you look at this from an animal point of view, for example,  rabbits and squirrels and polar bears and hibernating bears have always done this to incubate and raise their young. Otherwise they all would have died out millions of years ago already.

So, building buildings (homes and skyscrapers) above ground is sort of like building permanent tents more than anything else from this point of view.

The lands need to be for recreation and for farming to feed the potential 13 billion people who could be sustained for thousands of years on the surface of the earth. This also would prevent many of the extinctions of animals during this the 6th Great Extinction.

It  likely is the Only way I presently see other than leaving this planet for another one to prevent human extinction within a few hundred years of this level of population.

Moving underground likely would also have to be because we had decided to go zero population growth worldwide too. By not increasing populations beyond where we are now or 13 or 14 billion we might be able to survive without wars or starvation too worldwide.

But that could only happen with zero population growth worldwide which means we could ONLY replace ourselves when we have children and no more.

Will we ever get there?

This is unknown at present. It is also possible with leaders like Trump that we all might go extinct this century with that type of thoughtlessness and insensitivity to global warming.

Will we survive Trump and Putin and Xi?

That's up to those of us intelligent enough to make good decisions so enough of us can survive this century.

By God's Grace
