I can see why so many people like this film. But, it moves very fast so you really have to think about what's happening here. Also, it some ways it reminds me more of movies made in previous eras. It sort of fools you because the culture is so different in a Sacramento Catholic School than the average California Coastal scene of public schools. So, it takes your breath away in some ways if you are California coastal like I have mostly been since I was 4. So, in that way it is different thinking than I'm used to. So, this takes a little time to take all this in too that this is still happening in California.
