It means living with angels around you all the time. And because you pray and help all beings in any way you can through prayers and actions and good thoughts angels also take care of you because you are "doing the work of angels" here on earth so you become under the protection of angels.
There are all sorts of angels that have different basic functions in our world. First you have healing and nurturing angels which help heal and raise babies so they grow up to be good and useful adults to all life in the universe and to themselves.
Then you have teaching angels who teach young people at every age and adults as well how to survive and prosper in all ways in their lives.
Then you have protecting angels like the Archangels who wear jeweled armor and wear swords of sacred fire. I saw these types of angels when I was 2 when they came and healed me from whooping cough. It's one reason why I wanted to travel with them even then.
