Why?
Because global Warming is going to put millions and billions of people in harms way during this century. Without some kind of survival training people will just lay down and die and give up.
When bad things happen you have to get interested in the next thing you need to do. Oh, You can cry for one or more days when friends or relatives die in catastrophes around you but you have to eventually pick yourself up and move on or you are dead.
Knowing that whatever happens that you MUST go on for yourself and those around you is the first element of ongoing survival. Even if you are alone you MUST go on for those who love you to get back to them so they can go on surviving too.
Maybe watching Frozen 2 watching Anna's plight in this movie when she thinks everyone she loves its dead and she must find "The next right thing to do!" might help move children towards the kind of survival thinking that they will need as adults just to survive what is coming in their lives now sooner or later.
