Can Civilization survive the war to reopen businesses and beaches and parks?

It's likely a way will be found forward in Beach Cities in California and Florida but I worry more about places in the south and midwest for a variety of reasons. If people haven't been trained in critical thinking in college or living their lives then civilization itself might be in jeapordy through all of this.

However, in other countries with less freedoms than we have to vote and to demonstrate I worry that it will just fall into complete violence if the wrong balance is reached at the wrong times. OR more specifically, no logic or reason meets reality so governments completely collapse locally or nationally especially in 3rd world countries.

It's deadly true that people will die (it just depends how many are going to die). It's also true businesses need to reopen or millions will starve or go bankrupt or both here in the U.S.

Both things are completely true. But, what is the right way to solve these problems?

For example, Sweden decided to just leave everything but universities open and let their people just die. They decided that this approach was the best for them. The have a really high death rate and will lose many people especially over 50 but their businesses also might fare better than other free world nations too. So, they are sacrificing many for long term business interests. Can they and the world live with this long term?

I'm thinking there are going to be a lot of alcoholics or worse in Sweden from doing this for 20 to 30 years time even if their businesses are incredibly successful from all of this.

Here is a motto of mine and it works:"If you cannot live with the consequences of what you are going to do you often don't".

And I find it is a good rule to live by. Before you do anything you think about the long term consequences of what you are going to do Before you do it.

Because if you can't live with something you have done it is often the end for you (of your life and sometimes those lives who depend upon you too).

Think about the PTSD deaths from what Sweden is doing and how others around the world are going to think of them 20 to 30 years from now!

You have to be able to live with whatever you do or you likely won't!

This is just life in the real world folks!
