First, you have to wait in a line 6 feet apart with your cart. Then after about waiting 10 to 15 minutes to be able to go inside (all the time wearing a mask like everyone else) you walk inside. At this point I feel the palpable fear of everyone inside of Whole Foods. It's a kind of feeling that you can almost taste in your mouth from the people shopping there all wearing masks. After all this isn't a halloween party but you all are wearing masks and it is very strange doing this. So, people especially of races other than white I can really understand why you don't want to be wearing masks especially here in the U.S.
Yes. It's all very strange isn't it?
So, after we bought all the stuff we wanted then we had to wait halfway up a market aisle away from the checker and way more than 6 feet (maybe 20 feet) from the checker. Then checking out. This went sort of smoothly but now you have a plexiglass piece 4 feet tall (above the counter) so you have to reach around for your receipt and then half the time the reader isn't working right on the card reader (told to me by the bagger). Then we found some lysol wipes in the Truck and wiped our hands off to sterilize them. Then remove masks because now we have unloaded and are sitting in my truck.
It's all too strange in some ways and "We all think so".
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
