Whether this was consciously done by a person or group or even a nation or not, one thing is sure now. The coronavirus is thinning the human race out at random through natural selection.
Who will be left when it's done?
People who keep to themselves more, who are more quiet and likely more educated and more self disciplined. The people who will be gone will be the people over 75 who go out into public or who have their children or grandchildren or housekeepers visit them. People in rest homes will be gone a lot. People who ride subways will be gone a lot. People who eat inside in restaurants will be gone a lot. People who have to work too close with other people physically will be gone a lot.
This doesn't look to end until a vaccine is developed that is safe for everyone. And a whole lot of people could be gone by then.
If we stay open as a country I don't see the average deaths going much below an average of 900 to 1000 a day which means if it is a 1000 a day average that one year from today it will be 365,000 more people dead than today or 465,000 people dead total if our economy stays open.
However, unless we start losing 10,000 to 20,000 a day or more on average I don't think most states will close down once again because of the ultimate economic cost to our culture and nation. So, likely if the average stays below about 5000 to 10,000 deaths a day in the nation as a whole I think we will generally keep most businesses open ongoing.
Each state has a different strategy but one thing appears to be certain: Trump was the wrong president completely for keeping deaths down to a minimum.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
