I think this is perfectly obvious to everyone at this point. There will not be a fair election because Trump will sabotage it at this point. He knows he is going to go to jail if he doesn't remain president. So, basically he has two choices
1. Leave the country and his wealth and holdings to keep from going to jail in the U.S.
or
2. Become a dictator and end our democracy.
Obviously, Trump has made the 2nd choice because of the private Republican nomination.
Also, the main reason the Senate stopped functioning on giving another 600 dollar a week unemployment compensation is because they want people to do crime and to riot and rob banks and stuff like this.
Because this would create so much chaos and death in people's lives that Trump as a dictator might be welcomed as a result by some of the people.
In other words what is happening in the Senate is a way to facilitate a Trump Dictatorship through economic chaos and people being evicted from their apartments and homes all across the nation.
Trump is living the line: "I am Become Death the Destroyer of Worlds!"
