I WAS RAISING AT LEAST ONE OR MORE CHILDREN UNDER 18 FROM 1974 UNTIL 2014

So, what I'm going to say here comes from a great deal of experience along the way.

There is no way in hell I would send ANY of my children to a public school these days because it is just suicide for yourselves, your parents and even potentially for your kids.

Within 6 months the disaster of public schools during a pandemic will be quite obvious to everyone. However, for now, many people are just going to learn the hard way that public schools cannot be safe at all during these times.

And especially because if you study the Spanish Flu it didn't even begin to kill people until Fall of 1918.

For example, I think less than 10,000 Americans died of the Spanish Flu from January to around August of 1918.

Then September 1918 100,000 people died in the U.S. and by 1920 675,000 total had died in the U.S. and 50 million had died worldwide.

So, if you use the Spanish Flu as a yard stick with Coronavirus "You Ain't SEEN NOTHING YET!"

Of course then coronavirus might be a whole different animal too. But, if the 1918 Spanish flu is any indicator at all we have lost less than 10% of the people we are going to lose from coronavirus any way you look at it.

whether you call it home schooling, Independent Study or Distance learning you don't want to send kids to any public school during the coronavirus here in the U.S. simply because you and your parents and aunts and uncles could be infected by your children and some children die too.
