The explosion in Beirut, Lebanon was bigger than the one that killed hundreds of Marines there in the early 1980s

My wife knows the commanding officer of the Marines that died there from a truck bomb that rammed security then I believe.

However, today if you were standing in front of almost any window you likely have shards of glass in your face or arms or body and you are bleeding because this concussion was felt for miles. Originally they thought this warehouse was full of fireworks but this did the damage of something like a strategic nuclear tipped shell or something like this. No one there has ever seen a blast this big downtown in Beirut before which immediately killed 250 people and wounded thousands in this area mostly from flying glass and doors blown out by the huge concussion. If you watch the video of this this is an incredibly large blast that few have ever seen unless they were in World War II or the Viet Nam War watching Napalm being dropped on miles of land then.
