Enlightenment is not about Struggle. Struggle is misperception of reality.
Struggle is the essence of the master slave mentality (struggle being the slave's part).
So, to become enlightened one must first free themselves from a slave mentality.
The easiest way to free oneself from struggle is just to let it go.
However, this doesn't mean you shouldn't do what you need to to eat and live. It just means that
enlightenment is a part of being a Free Thinker in that you don't think like a slave anymore.
Because you cannot think like a slave and be enlightened at the same time.
This doesn't mean you forget how to think like a slave. It just means you don't live in the slave thinking rut all the time and never question it.
Struggle is engendered through the brainwashing of children to become slaves and to fit into a little box conception wise.
It's important to realize that public schools were originally designed to create factory workers to be obedient slaves not people who think in free thinking ways.
One of the more interesting concepts my parents taught me which is likely a Francis Bacon Saint Germain Saying which is:
"There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so!"
If you are an adult you understand what this means. If you are a slave in your thinking this might scare you.
"There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so" is how the rulers of the world for thousands of years have always thought. Why?
Because they are the ones who deified themselves and made all the rules.
The least you can do is to be free enough to make your own rules for yourself.
But, unless your basis is compassion for yourself and all life in the universe you might not survive doing this.
So, being compassionate to yourself and others overcoming struggle might be the first step towards your own enlightenment and the enlightenment of your children and grandchildren.
