However, if you run this through the CDC figures which say that 10 times as many here in the U.S. actually have or did have Covid then you get a different figure which is 2 billion people.
And if you take that 2 billion figure and check what 2% is which would be the likely death rate then you have: 40 million people that likely have died so far on earth from Covid.
This is likely a realistic very conservative estimate for how many people on earth have died so far from Covid-19 so far here on earth. Because most people on earth do not have the access to health care or vaccinations that we now do here in the U.S.
However, it is important to remember that this figure is combining those tested who died with those not tested who died from Covid worldwide.
