The temperatures were starting to go up a few years ago but not at the rate that they have since then. However, I visited and it was very hot and my hotel room had good air conditioning there in Portland, Oregon. I sort of sensed that those high temperatures were just going to rise so I bought each of my kids that lived in Portland then a portable air conditioner that can be pushed around on wheels. If you are renting an apartment, for example, landlords often prohibit the kind that are hanging partly out of the window that you see which are the older fashioned air conditioners that are put into apartments and homes after market. However, the portable ones with wheels on the bottom are better for these situations now. So, that is what I bought. Because they have wheels on the bottom of them to move them around they are easier to move from room to room but also to pack up when people move from home to home or apartment to apartment or whatever around the country going to college or for whatever jobs they are working at around the country. This way you won't have to worry about them passing out or worse in the heat in their apartments or rental homes one day.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
