When I tried editing "Memories" at dragonofcompassion.com after writing it from 1980 to around the early 2000s I found I really hated editing my own work. I would say that for every hour you spend writing there can be up to 100 hours or more of editing your works properly if you want them to read like most published books.
There are people who can edit much faster but they aren't usually the writers are they?
So, I found myself then in a quandary which was do I stop writing or stop editing?
My solution after spending thousands of hours trying to edit my own works was to basically give up editing since I wasn't trying to sell my writing anyway.
What is important about my writing is it is about past, present and future lifetimes of mine that I have already experienced.
So, whether it is edited or not it might be important for many people to read what I write so I just continue writing and publishing online since it is free for anyone to read anyway.
This was my solution to the problem up until now at least.
