Because they have gotten used to western ways both in food and clothing and in their habits and in electronic devices. Now, all those financial venues could be cut off by the Taliban bringing financial disaster to anyone who westernized because now likely things will go back around 1000 years ago except for kalashnikovs and Shoulder mounted grenade launchers. This will be especially true in Kabul and whatever cities have westernized the most during the last 20 years or so since American soldiers arrived there.
