7 in 10 employed Americans say they support a 4 day work week

My cousin is now 78 years old and still works a 4 day work week as a lawyer in his own business. He loves his job still too.

He was a young lawyer in his 20s working for a 42 year old Lawyer who was his mentor. But then his mentor died at 42 from a heart attack caused by overwork and a bad diet then in the 1970s.

This taught my cousin to work only a 4 day work week and instead of 5  8 hour days my cousin started working 4 10 hour days instead which allowed him to buy a motor home and spend the weekends with his kids growing up and traveling on weekends and more time to spend teaching them to swim in their big swimming pool. Recently, my son who is in his 40s decided to work a 4 day work week too for much of the same reasons because life is much happier working less days and when you have 3 days off in a row you can watch your kids grow up and your wife is happier too.

One way is to start your own business and after a while you can move to 4 days a week after it gets going and you have enough money coming in.
