You can tell it's fall because even overcast the temperatures averaged about 77 degrees Fahrenheit from about Red Bluff to Stockton even though it was about 45 degrees when I left Mt. Shasta at around 11 am and the night before it was around 34 degrees outside.
Traveling south the Sun shown Silver (when I saw it through the clouds) but the clouds from the storm were all the way south from Mt. Shasta. Even when I went to the beach at home on the coast with our family Corgi the clouds were still there but somehow the Sun Got beneath the clouds for a really amazing sunset which lifted my spirits a lot.
