Many people around the world have lost about 75% of the happiness they had in life the last 2 years or so

Of course I'm talking about the people in the middle and up economically on earth. This makes people mean, ornery and really pissed off starting with Covid, moving towards Global Climate changes and now ending with watching whole families who are NOT soldiers dying on TV from Russians bombarding Civilian areas in Ukraine.

So, what I'm saying here is anyone educated enough or who is paying attention is really pissed off right now regarding what is presently happening in Ukraine. Is this a good thing or a bad thing. I have to say it's both good and bad.

It's good because freedom is not free which is what the world is seeing in all relatively free Democratically elected countries on earth right now.

If Putin can destroy the freedoms of Ukrainians then he or other despots can destroy the freedoms of almost any country on earth.

It's bad because angry people are more capable of killing others (whether they deserve it or not) than other less angry people.

So, what often happens is many many innocent people die along with the guilty people in situations historically.

So, trying if we can to be cooler heads no matter what is happening might preserve at least more of the lives of innocents now.

I watched on CNN a whole family (3 or 4 people) the mother and all her children, dead on the sidewalk from a Russian missile or bomb from fragmentation from the explosion. They looked like they were dressed up for a snow outing because it is very cold and snowing there often. The only tell tale sign was the blood spots on some of the faces and a little blood here and there but other than that it looked like a bunch of people who had fallen down on the sidewalk. There was a soldier there checking to see if any were still breathing and they were not.

I'm afraid this is the kind of thing we will have to get used to in the news. At least 20,000 people from other countries have already joined an international brigade in Ukraine to fight the Russians. And likely there could be 80,000 more soon from all concerned countries on earth.

The thought likely is: "Let's fight the Russians in the proxy war in Ukraine before it expands into our homelands elsewhere."

This seems to be the thought of those volunteering now from free countries worldwide.

Americans also volunteered for World War I and World War II before our nation formally declared war against the other side in each case too.

So, in some ways history is repeating itself to some degree.
