Putin's scorched earth policy could lead to Nuclear power plant disasters in Ukraine, Europe and U.S. eventually

 Why?

The war has presently become 10 to 100 times (in every way) more difficult than Putin expected when he began the Ukraine invasion. Why is this?

Because the world didn't do much to him when he took Crimea in 2014. However, this time the world was more prepared to deal with him and has reduced the Ruble to less than a penny in value worldwide now. This alone makes the cost of this war to Putin 100 times more than he expected even though he put aside 650 billion dollars in order to take Ukraine. This war is many time more expensive than that likely during the next 10 years just from the ruble going below 1 penny per ruble which is their national currency in Russia.

In some ways Putin now has nowhere to go but scorched earth and a sense of revenge against the west for stopping him from taking Ukraine. Since his 40 mile convoy of troops and resupply vehicles got stopped by blown up bridges and several generals and other higher officers have been killed also during all this and because a stopped convoy like this is a sitting duck for Ukraine shoulder fired missiles, sniper rifles puncturing diesel trucks and the like and since 95% of Russia's army is deployed now inside of Ukraine or waiting outside of Ukraine at this time, this has become a complete disaster on almost all levels you could imagine at this point. His plan only could have worked as a blitzkrieg but it didn't and now it is a complete disaster. So, he is using scorched earth and killing civilians in Ukraine trying to bomb the Civilian population in Ukraine into oblivion in order to take over Ukraine anyway using cluster bombs that kill everyone and everything living in a 1 to 2 mile area of where the 1000 little bomblets are dropped or sent in a missile over an area.

Yesterday, we saw on TV the result of the bombing or shelling of a maternity hospital which is a part of this scorched earth campaign now and this is sure to get worse.

If his army loses on the ground as well as most of it's tanks and resupply vehicles you can expect him to start bombing and sending missiles onto nuclear power plants including Chernobyl which has also had the power cut off to it already.

The other problem I foresee at present is that Putin is now backed into a corner and as retired General David H. Petraeus has said: "You shouldn't put someone

with nuclear weapons into a corner".

In other words if you leave someone like Putin with nowhere

to go other than to use nukes he likely will actually use

those nukes. This is just a part of his "Never give up"

personality.Thinking he will concede is not useful

at this point unless you expect to see a nuclear armageddon

worldwide.

A friend of mine who is a veteran and I spoke about all this the

other day and we both agreed because it is Putin that it is

only a 50-50 proposition as to whether or not Putin uses nukes

at some point in the next 5 to 10 years of this.

My thought is that he would likely in revenge for the Soviet Union

at some point bomb all nuclear power plants in Ukraine, Europe

and the U.S. which would make it impossible for people

to live in the U.S. east of the Mississippi River because of Radiation.

So, in order to stay alive people would likely have to move

west of the Mississippi River in order not to die of radiation

for one or more years until all the bombed nuclear power plants

were covered with cement like Chernobyl. This could be

accomplished (the bombing) by Russian Ships off the Atlantic

coast sending non-nuclear cruise missiles into every nuclear

power plant in the U.S.

I think people need to realize that this is about (in Putin's mind)

revenge for the collapse of the old Soviet Union more than

anything else if this happens. I think he expects to die during

all this too. He isn't planning to stay alive after all of this but

he feels he needs to take revenge for the death of the old Soviet

Union so to him his death would not be in vain. Also, he is almost

70 and the average life span for a Russian man is presently

only 73 plus years old. So, from his point of view he has already

maybe lived long enough.

I think this has  already moved into a nightmare scenario

for the whole world.

So, at this point the ONLY way for this to end well might be

if Putin is removed from power in some way. Otherwise, I believe

at present that Putin will take full revenge upon the world

no matter what sanctions are applied by the world against him

at this point.

He has the kind of personality where in all likelihood the world

will see his revenge likely eventually if this goes on much

longer for what happened to the Soviet Union. Putin holds the U.S.

Europe and Saudi Arabia directly accountable for the collapse

of the Soviet Union which would be the countries he would take

revenge upon before his death caused by doing this.

Here is a previous article I wrote about my concern for American

Nuclear power plants and how vulnerable they presently

are to Putin:
