What I think is going on with Poland and the jet fighters

Neither Poland nor the U.S.  wants to be seen as "giving" directly jet fighters to Ukraine to defend itself for a variety of reasons, the first of which is that Poland doesn't want Russia to declare war on Poland with the excuse of them having given fighter jets to Ukraine to better defend itself.

The U.S. strangely enough has a similar but different position likely which might go something like this:"Though we would like to give fighter jets to Ukraine to better defend itself, it's possible that Putin will declare war on us too if we do this. So, rather than start a Nuclear war by doing this maybe we would rather not. Because a nuclear war is not winnable by either side in the end. IF a nuclear war happens life on earth (all life) except for maybe cockroaches permanently ends for all intents and purposes.

I presently believe that Putin is going to take all this nuclear at a 50-50 rate at present. I discussed this with an army veteran today and he agreed with me. I think Putin already knows this is all going to nukes already because of the world literally bankrupting Russia right now through various actions. The latest bankrupting action is the U.S. not buying energy in any form from Russia anymore today as of President Biden.

In other words I personally believe the risk of a nuclear war with Putin is about a 50-50 chance within 5 years time unless Putin is deposed or assassinated within those 5 years.
