I'm watching the Storm come in online and it's coming pretty big and pretty fast now

It hasn't fully hit yet. My wife was telling me the worst rains wouldn't be until Wednesday night and Thursday morning for the level 5 bomb cyclone. However, I reminded her that high winds up to 70 mph could start around 4 am this morning where our home is on the coast. Where we live winds can really come off the ocean sometimes at 100 mph and take down trees (especially Monterey Pines and Oak trees. But, of the two Monterey pines tend to go down first in a real wind. But, Redwoods and Oaks don't go down very easy. I think Cypress Trees also don't get blown down that much either in general. Before I left home I made sure all the chairs were off the deck or pinned again the railing with a Glass topped outdoor table so they couldn't move even in a high wind. So, since all the chairs not pinned against the railing (only 2) so there are about 4 or 5 outdoor chairs in the yard where they won't break windows or sliding glass doors or anything else in whatever winds come there now.

It's nice to be in Mt. Shasta once again I haven't been here since the July 4th Walk Run and the Parade when we were driving back from a 5 week trip through Tahoe, Teton National Park, Yellowstone national park, Glacier National Park and Banff and Lake Louise up in Canada then in June 2022. I think this is the longest I've been away from Mt. Shasta since I lived in Hawaii in 1989 and 1990.
