This has been a complete cluster f--- for everyone involved. Everyone lost in this. Hamas lost Gaza. The Israelis lost all their people who were killed and captured both soldiers and civilians. Northern Gaza was destroyed by IDF bombs and rockets, many buildings in Israel were destroyed by rockets. Thousands of people died on either side and are still dying and nothing was really accomplished by anyone at all.
Who benefited the most from this? Not Gaza Palestinians. Not Israelis.
So, who benefited the most from all this?
Likely Russia and China benefited the most followed by Iran.
I don't see ANYONE benefiting from all of this other than the three countries I outlined above.
