49 degrees Fahrenheit at 8:45 AM on Wednesday in Santa Barbara

This is pretty cold for this time of day here in Santa Barbara especially this late in March. However, it is also true that a storm that is going to hit here later this week is already hitting Northern California all the way up to Vancouver, Canada as well. So, it usually takes some time for the bottom end of these storms to hit California all the way down to Santa Barbara and San Diego and points east from there.

So, it's likely that this temperature is the beginning of the new cold front along with this storm coming for Easter too all over California. However, there was a really good sunset last night as I walked my dog along the beach at sunset. And last night was less windy so I was able to walk along the beach with only a wool Pendleton Shirt and a baseball cap which was nice too instead of wearing a heavier jacket and hood to keep out the cold wind of  the days before.
