Cancer in younger under 50 is increasing significantly globally now. This is in regard to Globally 1990-2019

The incidences of Cancer is up 79% between 1990 and 2019

and the death increases from cancer are up 28% Globally between 1990 and 2019

So, this is a significant change from before 1990.

Off the top of my head some of the factors would be from:

1. changes in the suns rays hitting the earth increasing Skin Cancers in people.

2. changes in diets with more processed and sprayed foods.

3. increased air pollution significantly increases deaths regarding breathing but also increases

incidents of Lung Cancer and COPD and Asthma and other diseases including Cancers.

Water pollution from various sources including mining and other chemical plants etc. Also, increases cancer around the world too.

It's also possible that Nuclear power plants are also polluting the waters that cool them with nuclear radiation which can affect people too worldwide.

This and a myriad of other problems are degrading the lives of many people on earth at this time.

For example, the 83 worst air polluted places on earth right now are in India with no hope in sight at present of this being changed or rectified.

I grew up in the Los Angeles area in the 1950s and the smog was really bad then and it had high sulphur contect too. So, for example, if I went on my bicycle with friends to swim in Verdugo Olympic sized swimming pool in Glendale where I mostly grew up on a smoggy day, the clorine from the pool and the Sulphur in the air collided and it was like being stabbed by a knife with every breath trying to ride my bicycle home from the swimming pool then.

However, over time using catalytic converters and better mufflers etc. we mostly eliminated the smog to the point where you can see more than 1 block again. Because that was just how bad it got in the 1950s and early 1960s in the Los Angeles basin then with 110 degree heat in the summer or more and not being able to breathe well from the smog either. So, it is possible to clean up the air in a city or area if there is the will of the people to do this.
