Because air Turbulence like we see lately we are going to see more and more. I think eventually people might want to have "medical urinals" so they don't have to leave their seats so they don't die or get injured as passengers. So, they will seat belt and keep it on although loosen it a little after takeoff but leave it on from takeoff to landing of the plane.
So, eventually people won't get up at all and even the flight attendants won't walk down aisles after many are injured or killed from the turbulence. and eventually even wearing a seat belt won't be enough because the jolts will break people's necks even with shoulder harnesses on or rip the wings off of planes.
At that point I think jet planes will become like rocket ships to avoid the atmosphere except at takeoff and landings and that's all and there will not be airports but places to land ships maybe with parachutes or rockets so it can be done quickly in between storms of one kind or another.
