I try to donate to Wikipedia periodically to "keep them functional" because I often quote them because the people who write for this are mostly all volunteers and worldwide and care about their subject matter enough to share it with us.
So, if you also appreciate Wikipedia I would recommend donating something to them even if it is only 2 to 5 dollars periodically so they can continue to be a source of good information for everyone around the world. Also, there are Wikipedias in most languages on earth now too.

Here are a few quick facts about Wikipedia's language editions:
- Largest Editions: The English Wikipedia is the largest by article count, followed by major editions like Cebuano, German, and French.
- Creation Rules: New language wikis must meet specific Wikimedia Foundation criteria and use valid ISO codes via the Wikimedia Incubator.
Would you like to know which specific language editions have the most articles or how the incubator process works for new languages?
As of September 2026, Wikipedia articles have been created in 364 editions, with 348 currently active, 16 closed and 11 moved to Wikimedia Incubator.
