Just like the fact that Social Security at first during the 1930s only included Widows and orphans, likely the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or "Obama Care" will likely be here 50 years from now in a slightly different form than now.
We are witnessing history in the making just like the "Civil Rights Act of 1964" during the Johnson Administration.

The Placebo Effect
Doctors will tell you that often patients get better even taking Placebos(pills that look like medicine but aren't) when they are told they are getting medicine. So then, the basis of getting better is I guess a way of tricking your mind into healing you without real medicine.
So, it doesn't really have to do with medicine at all and one could call any belief or even superstitition that helps one get better also a placebo effect.
In my own case I remember the time my daughter now 14 was 4 years old and fell off a large rock at Castle Lake onto her head. She came up to the motor home covered with blood from the top of her head to her waist with blood spurting out the wound on top of her head. My 10 year old who was watching her at the time was trying not to faint from all the blood. So, my wife and I had to become very calm to seem like everything was okay so my 4 year old didn't go into shock. But the funny thing was at first my daughter thought she was going to die. But then I told her I had done this to myself at age 5 with an army surplus shovel that I was trying to use as a pick in the earth and I accidentally hit myself in the head with the blade. This became a placebo effect for my daughter that I had also done this and survived. In fact, my parents didn't even take me to a doctor at that time and just put butterfly bandages on my head to close the gaping wound and to stop the bleeding. So, my 4 year old was okay even though the rest of us were not and I was trying to get to the hospital without wrecking the motor home going down quickly to 3500 feet from over 6000 feet in elevation. So, one never knows what the placebo effect might be. But this kept my 4 year old from going into shock and dying of fear just by telling her that I had survived a similar injury. Though it took the rest of us several days to emotionally recover from this my four year old came through with flying colors because of my story and was fine while the rest of us fought off fainting from the bloody sight. But by telling my story and remaining calm(in appearance) it all turned out okay.

Opinion: Iceland Volcano helps create freezing weather in europe
Weather chaos continues to hit UK airports
It is pretty obvious to me after having studied the effects of volcanic eruptions that the present freezing weather creating snowstorms in Europe likely has a direct co-relation to the Iceland Volcano going off. Though I cannot prove this I think others might be able to. Also, in the late 1700s volcanic eruptions in Iceland help cause the French revolution from starvation because things wouldn't grow right in europe and it also caused the Mississippi River to Freeze all the way to New Orleans. It isn't that bad yet but the larger Iceland Volcano hasn't also gone off like it did then within a couple of years.

1978: Archangel Michael saves my Life
My Christmas Miracle:60 years later
The above blog "My Christmas Miracle" might be more useful if you read it before this one. But, to each his or her own.
If you already read "My Christmas Miracle" above you know that the Archangels came to me and my Grandmother while she was singing me "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" when I was around 2 years old.
Michael constantly protected me and made himself known to me throughout my life. I was listening to Christmas Music on the radio driving back from Santa Barbara and felt the presence of my Archangel friends and a tear came to my eyes and when I reached home in Northern California I knew I needed to write "My Christmas Miracle" for you.
Then I realized I wanted to share one of the many times he and his band of angels have saved my life over the years.
This is just the most graphic of them all that I can put together now in my mind.
I had gotten my Landscaping Contractors license that year and I was 30. So I worked alongside Landscape Architects designing and installing and grading upper end yards up to several acres or more.
One day my partner and I were getting large boulders (over 1 ton each) and put them in his dump truck. He had built a hydraulic hoist on the side of it to lift them out. As I drove behind him to our cliffside La Jolla location in which we were going to install these large boulders I saw Archangel Michaels blue ghostlike form sitting on one of the boulders as we drove along the Interstate 5 freeway towards La Jolla because I was following the dump truck with my pickup truck. I asked Archangel Michael what he was doing sitting on one of our boulders. He said nothing to me or in my mind and so I just knew something was up. I knew I would have to be very careful regarding my life and those around me that day. When we unloaded the largest boulder with the hydraulic hoist it seemed to groan a little. So the men we had working with us to stabilize the boulder got scared. My partner asked me to remove the last strut from under the boulder. Because I didn't want the hired help to be injured I moved very quickly. No sooner had my head cleared the boulder than the hoist broke. I told my partner that was the last big boulder I would ever place. No one was injured. Archangel Michael had been right all along. He had been sitting on this particular boulder in the back of the dump truck.

The year was 1950 around Christmas in Seattle, Washington, USA. My parents were in church and it was night time and my Grandmother (my mother's mother) that I called "Nana" was rocking me to sleep in an overstuffed rocking chair popular during the 1940s. She was singing " Hark the Herald Angels Sing" as she was very Celtic Scottish Christian and this seemed to draw the angels near to us.
As Archangel Michael and his band of angels appeared in the room remember I was but 2 years old at most and since being a little child still nothing interfered with my clear visions of reality. As the Angels likely 7 to 9 of them appeared in the room it was a very bright light. Since I was young and innocent the power of the angels changed me very deeply at that time and I often think that my intuitive gifts grew a lot that night as a result.
Let me describe the Archangels to you. Archangel Michael was the leader and wore blue jeweled Armor. Though his hands were free and he wore no helm (helmet) every part of him was covered with jeweled armor. The same was true of all the other Archangels who each wore their own unique colored armor. They seemed a very international group of defenders of souls or maybe even intergalactic. All the Archangels wore no beards or mustaches but all had shoulder length hair. Michaels was blonde, but they all had different colored hair for the most part and all wore armor unique to them, but all the style was the same just different colored armor and jewels. So, only their heads and hands were bare. They had the attitude of very confident men would who were soldiers on earth. But they were different in that they had an undefeated attitude about them like they never lost a battle.
Their powerful lights and presence in the room burned through me. I'm sure my Nana felt it too but I'm not sure she saw them as I did as she kept singing "Hark, The Herald Angels Sing". The Web site has published hundreds of thousands of stolen U.S. military and diplomatic documents from as recently as February of this year and as far back as the 1960s. The latest round of leaks, involving diplomatic cables, has renewed efforts by the U.S. government to tighten security on its computer systems. But cyber-security experts point out the leaks were less a breakdown of technology than of trust. end quote.
I think that the President not having the power to shut down the internet in an emergency is both a good thing and a bad thing simaltaneously. In the first place shutting the internet down might do damage to internet infrastructure technology that likely is not designed to withstand this kind of shutdown so incredible amounts of both information and technology could be lost during this shutdown.
However, the flip side of this is that the right kind of co-ordinated attack upon the internet in any one country or worldwide simultaneously might damage or temporarily end all or part of the internet leaving much information as well as technology permanently disabled or temporarily disabled. So, I think more thought is needed into backing up important information of all kinds in case these kinds of cyber war kinds of events occur, especially if they are a concerted effort by one country that has enough skilled manpower to successfully put forward such an attack.
In regard to the breakdown of trust, if we are to believe the story of the U.S. Government that an army private in Iraq with hacking skills downloaded onto a re-recordable CD labeled "Lady Gaga" all the U.S. State Department and Pentagon information, I think it is fair to say that this is a breakdown of trust. So, then the next question has to be: "How will the world and especially the U.S. deal with this kind of breakdown of trust?"
In another article I mentioned that since I worked as a computer programmer and computer operator in my early 20s, I have a knowledge of how the internet is designed and of how it functions through layers of programming interfaced with TCP/IP (transmission control protocol/Internet protocol) which allows multiple computer languages and interfaces to all "talk or communicate" with each other through various kind of technological media.
In regard to both information and trust my statement would be: "The Internet is an accident waiting to happen". The reason for this is the question: "What happens with an almost infinite number of people are given access to almost all knowledge on earth?" The answer must be: "Almost anything."
For this reason I consider the internet to be both one of the best technological things ever invented while simultaneously being potentially one of the worst accidents in the world waiting to happen.
A good example of the problem is illustrated by the invention of the automobile. It also is one of the best things invented but just in the United States between 40,000 and 60,000 people die in them every year. So, something that does a lot of good can also kill and maim simultaneously. So, do we end the internet to prevent loss of life and wealth? Or just like with the automobile consider that its use and positive good outweighs the deaths and maimings it causes every year?

The above word button "dragonofcompassion.com-Home" will take you to my archive site. I have had an archive site since 1999. At first it was for free at Geocities.com in 1999. Since last year my archive site is about 10 dollars a month and hosted by Yahoo.
So, there are at dragonofcompassion.com are things I have written since about 1980 and possibly just a very few things I wrote before then. The Majority of stuff there was written between 2000 and the present.
I was thinking as I was writing this that my directory page was originally called my "Index" page. But since for most people since 1999 this has now changed to one's "Home" page maybe I should change it so it is less confusing for people in these times 11 years later.
So, at least for the present until I remember to do that when I next have the time my "Home" page for right now is still called my "Index" page or "Table of Contents"(Index just being short for 'table of contents' of the whole site.
So, for example at the site presently "Home", "Services" "About Us" ,"Contact us" are not that useful really to most people. So, looking at the buttons from left to right on the top of the site the first top left to right button very useful to you is:
"Memories part 1" description: Arcane who is a past life incarnation of myself lived in the future on several other planets including present day earth. (I didn't think incarnating in the future before you incarnate in the past was possible.) However, after almost dying for 7 months during 1998 and 1999 from a Heart Virus and while preparing for my death during that time I realized it not only was possible it happens all the time.
However, I don't believe presently that everyone who is human chooses to reincarnate more than once. However, I know I have and thousands (at least of others I have passed by do). (As an intuitive I can usually tell who has had more than one incarnation and who hasn't because those who have had many many lifetimes have very different auras than those who haven't. It is sort of like the difference between child souls and fully adult or mature souls.
So, one can be in a young body and be a very very old soul who has incarnated thousands and thousands of times. Or one can be in a very old body and be a very young (incarnation wise) soul. So, the age of the person in their present body has nothing whatsoever to do with long term soul maturity. But it does have a lot to do with what they have learned from this lifetime as a human incarnating on earth.
In studying about Early Christianity while I was studying comparative religion I found out that reincarnation was actually believed in by most Christians until it was taken out by Emperor Justinian and Theodora

However, regarding reincarnation, Theodora and Justinian decided to put the pope in prison and eliminate many things from the Bible that are still gone today. One of the things they removed was regarding reincarnation. It was taken out and replaced with "Hell and Damnation" because if there is no reincarnation one can scare the uneducated masses into Slavery by replacing reincarnation by "Hell and Damnation". In this way they enslaved the masses who by this time were faithful Christians. And so the scars of the loss of hope with the loss of reincarnation were added to the scars of the loss of hope from "Hell and Damnation".
So, if you are one of the millions who became atheists because of the whole "Hell and damnation thing" you have Justinian and Theodora to thank for your unfortunate experience historically speaking.
I'm sorry I digressed but it is a crucially important point regarding the disenfranchisement of All Christians since the 500s in the Byzantine Empire which controlled Rome and the Pope and the Church at that time.

One of the many things prescribed on pain of death to any Christians was that Jesus must only be worshiped as a God or Diety and never again as just a man.
From my personal point of view this just further enslaved all Christians into being even more enslaved by their religion than before. By elevating Jesus to being a God or Diety no other man (or woman or child) could reach this pinnacle. I consider this a severe disservice to all mankind that this was done. In order to try to help right this grievous wrong to all Christians I wrote "Yesu" to describe how a man who was intelligent enough with the right intuitive gifts of being in the right place at the right time along with the necessary physical and mental stamina could be a Jesus without being a God or Diefied above everyone else who was human. In this way Jesus could be a great teacher like Confucious, Lao Tzu, Zoroaster, or Buddha or others and compared to them all without insulting Christians who have been brainwashed for over 1000 years now otherwise by a political vote taken on penalty of death for all Christians if they believed other than this political vote. That is not to say that Jesus is not a God or a Diety, it is to say that he also could have just been an exceptional man.
An Intuitive's Response to Nuclear Problems
I have been an intuitive all my life. It is not always a comfortable way to be. However, it does enable a person gifted in this way to survive almost anything if he or she listens to what they sense. The hardest part is to separate momentary thoughts and feeling from something deeper which relates to future or soon to happen events. Once one develops this skill, one can often sense what is coming and get out of the way of dangerous life threatening events. So, in the case of what is now happening on earth I have learned through past experience that the thing to do is to make people aware of problems that could be coming. So, in warning people of possible events people, each in their own way, some through prayer, others through intelligence and technology and others by miscellaneous means prevent mass deaths by their combined skills. So, I guess what I'm saying is that during the next 3 to 6 months the world needs to be very careful. The second 6 months won't be easy but the problems will have changed to something different and likely more easily manageable than what is presently going on. So, the hardest to control directly will be the next 3 to 6 months. So, if you are a praying person now is the time.

It seems that the old cold war that brought about the Korean War which was the first major hot war of the beginning of the Cold War(the second was the Viet Nam War) is haunting us again. The problem is that though there was an armistice worked out in 1953 through the United Nations there was never a peace treaty nor an acceptable end to that war, so it is still with us now.

Bury One's Head in the Sand or Scare Oneself to Death

I think the best way that would be useful to address this subject that would help all those in the western world better cope with this subject in a useful way would be to address the psychology of this in a simple way in the U.S. since World War II.
First, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked by Truman as a way to save American lives as he thought enough had already died. From an American point of view this might have been necessary but at this point I think the whole world would say these were very very unfortunate events for the whole world.
Then the Cold War between the Iron Curtain Countries and the Western World Began and we all thought it was only a matter of time that we were going to die. This caused many people who couldn't deal with this to kill themselves both directly and indirectly worldwide. From the late 1930s until the Berlin Wall fell around 1990 terror was an everyday experience for everyone on earth. Though we all got used to it who survived, it was always uncomfortable sort of like a needle poking each of us through our clothes all the time bothering us until the Berlin Wall fell.
However, then people became so euphoric in the Western world at the Collapse of the Soviet Union that people became unrealistic about the fact that nuclear weapons were still everywhere and ready to go off at any time with the slightest provocation.
So, here we are today and the practical possibility of a nuclear accident either of a small nuclear weapon or dirty bomb or even an improperly maintained electrical generating nuclear power plant anywhere on earth is an everyday and every moment possibility.
So, I would say that in a practical useful way we in the western world (and especially the U.S. point of view) have buried our heads in the sand hoping to God that we all didn't need to build basement and buried bomb shelters once again.
Unfortunately, we are there again. This time it is triggered by a rogue nation called North Korea, and also by Iran gaining nuclear weapons and also because Pakistan's instability is also scaring everyone about how safe Pakistani nuclear weapons still are. In addition to that there is more worry about someone, like a terrorist stealing a small or large nuclear weapon from any nation and setting it off.
So, if you are level headed and want to make sure your family survives whatever comes, it might be time to build yourself a bomb shelter and stock it on or near your home. Or if you live in an apartment try to find a safe place to hang out. If you own a condo and are allowed to you can build a safe room to protect yourselves from criminals that also will double as a well stocked nuclear bomb shelter.
I agree with the article in the New York Times article listed in my previous blog with a button at the top of this page, "It's time to consider once again preparing for the unthinkable". We've had a 20 year break but now it's time to be realistic once again so at least some of us survive whatever comes if it comes.

At random or on a specific day we were told to crawl under our desks and cover our heads with our arms while in a kneeling "rolled into a ball" position under our desks. There was usually a lot of laughter and moaning from the bumping of heads as one crawled under or out from under our desks. And at least one boy in the class would always say, "Yeah. Just bend over and kiss your ass goodbye." There would always be laughter from all the most practical people in the room and usually horrified looks from the others.
I was going through the comments to this article in the New York Times and thought this one was important:
Wow, talk about isolationism! Just about every building (including many private homes) in Switzerland has in its basement a room (or rooms) with blast doors and emergency supplies. Wisdom in circa 1950's Switzerland,a famously neutral county, is political dynamite in front-line US?? end quote.

As a child born in 1948 getting prepared for being nuked out in California. It was about a weekly or monthly experience in grade school. At random or on a specific day we were told to crawl under our desks and cover our heads with our arms while in a kneeling "rolled into a ball" position under our desks. There was usually a lot of laughter and moaning from the bumping of heads as one crawled under or out from under our desks. And at least one boy in the class would always say, "Yeah. The Fourth Kind Part 2
I watched about the 2nd half of "The Fourth Kind" on HBO and found it interesting. Many people just aren't equiped to deal with beings this different than what they are used to. I suppose in its own way it would be like meeting an intelligent Grizzly Bear if one had never seen one up close that was thousands of years ahead of now in technology and intelligence. But most folks just aren't equiped to psychologically survive a close encounter of the fourth kind.
I think I was lucky in this respect because the religion my parents raised me in believed that advanced technology on earth was developed on other planets and brought here by people from those planets. I noticed as I grew up in this religion that there were many U.S. Naval and Air Force Officers in the religion I was raised in. It was almost as if the religion was sanctioned by people who had actually dealt with real UFOs both vehicles and off worlders.
So, if you are born into a way of thinking and so as a little child you just accept that there are people on all sorts of planets and that they have technology in advance of ours and that they are related to us, it isn't that hard to not be as afraid or as terrified as the average person if they come and visit you because you arlready "know" because your parents have already told you about them that they exist and are in advance of us technologically and that they will share their advances with us over time.
So, I think because I was a natural intuitive and trained in the ways I listed above that I didn't just lose it completely like many people do like the psychologist does whose real life was documented in "The Fourth Kind". Of course, she lost her daughter and husband and is permanently estranged from her son. So that says a lot. How many of you could survive that?
So, most of what I write about I believe like, "Memories" came from real experiences both externally and internally. Are some of the things I write about "veiled"? I would say that is likely. However, I wrote about it all in a legendary form so it is more palatable to readers to prepare them for "Life in the Universe" as it really is.
However, I like to tell the story about the native American in the early 1800s who had never seen a piano or heard one played before. He walked up to the wagon and saw a man playing the piano in the back of a wagon because the wagon wheel was broken on the wagon and he was waiting for it to get fixed.
When the native American got home he told his family what he saw. It went something like this: "When I came upon this thing, the man hit it's teeth and it screamed in agony but it didn't scratch or bite the man hurting it's teeth. It just stayed still and screamed".
Just like this story my experiences should be viewed in the context of the Native American's. Because even though I"m recounting a lot of my own experiences, it might be important to take them as the stories of a minister or world traveling shaman telling you about his experiences. Yes. The experiences are based upon facts. However, if you were there you might have understood either more or less or different things. But we both are from different cultures than all this in the end. So to those in the cultures we are talking about would have a completely different experience than we might be able to imagine at present.

There are more parts 1 through 11 there if you are interested. This is my impression of what our galaxy is like. However, since there likely are millions of inhabited planets or more in our galaxy, obviously there are trillions more experiences than the ones I recount in the universe past, present and future.
The Fourth Kind
I was watching a snippet of "The Fourth Kind" which is a movie about extraterrestrial experiences here on earth. It reminded me of how I felt a lot of the time in the 1980s when "Communion" the book and the movie came out.
Since I have had these kinds of experiences all my life and also likely down into my very early childhood, it reminded me of the movie "Inception". When I first saw this movie I felt disturbed by the multi-level experiences of dreams within dreams within dreams without any obvious spiritual meaning or relevance to anything. I realized that UFO experiences sometimes have these same kinds of "Life without meaning" to them as well.
So, in order to withstand UFO types of experiences like millions on earth do all the time for thousands of years and likely since there have been humans or humanoids on earth, it appears to be necessary to have a belief system like a religion or a philosophy to hang onto when going through these kinds of multi-level experiences so one has one version of reality that covers all the types of experiences that one could possibly have without permanently losing it. For some people it is as simple as "Nothing's going to change my world". For others "God is Love and is ever with me". For others it will be other things. However, to endure these kinds of experiences like millions of people have already and maybe you are one of these whether it reaches your conscious mind or not maybe the best saying would be, "There are no atheists in foxholes". In other words when you think you are about to die you will invent God to keep your mind and emotions from permanently exploding even if your body survives. In this way one can survive just about anything, even death.
