During the 1980s and 1990s and into the 2000s Hizbollah was always called Hezbollah. But since common usage has turned to Hizbollah maybe I should move to this Now new common spelling for Hezbollah of previous years. If you live long enough the spelling and meaning to everything seems to change.
Recently, my daughter corrected me about he meaning of words my own generation spawned like "Groovy", and about 10 other words and said to me, "NO. You are wrong that's not what it means!" And I said, "Hey. My generation coined the term and it means this!" And she said, "Well. It doesn't mean that anymore."
So, I guess if you live long enough words and phrases that were sacrosanct and built upon the blood of your generation get turned into some other meaning without your permission and maybe it has always been this way. So, maybe a words meaning can change publicly 10 times or more in 20 to 30 years. So, does "Up" mean "Down" yet too? And what about sideways?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
