My daughter called me yesterday saying someone had given her some Iraqi Dinars. I told her that was good but not to buy anymore. She asked why. I told her about how ISIS, a former Al Qaeda linked group that is so crazy that even Al Qaeda has disavowed them is causing all kinds of havoc in Syria and Iraq to the point where the present government or Iraq might even collapse because of it like Libya appears to be.
So, my thought was that it might be 1, 5, 10, 20 years or more before the Iraqi Dinars recover. She thought this was interesting.
Later that day I went to see Monuments Men with my wife and a friend who is a full time investor. He said he keeps about $300 in Iraqi dinars but he said it is not an investment but as a speculation. So, he agreed with me she should buy any other than that already given to her.
He also agreed with me that because of elements like ISIS in Syria and Iraq that it is unlikely that the Dinar will recover and make people a whole lot of money any time soon.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
