Two Feet of New Snow at Sand Flats
My friend called me to tell me that there are 2 new feet of snow at Sand Flats which means skiing will be good high up on Mt. Shasta soon. At least the Bunny to Sand Flats run and the Horse Camp snow shoe or cross country ski route is open and Panther Meadows on Snow Shoes or Cross country or Mountaineering skis might be pretty interesting. Even Snow shoeing and ice axing and cramponing to the Summit and skiing down might be great as long as you don't start an avalanche too as long as the weather cooperates.
