The Dream

I woke up this morning from a dream that was of a girl (about 15 or 16) that I had met along with my wife in a place like Disneyland. But, the girl was half horse and half girl like a Centaur. The part of her that was half horse was gray colored and then at her waist came up like a Centaur where the horses head and neck should be. She seemed to have accepted her predicament okay. I felt sad for her but also amazed that I got to meet here at Disneyland. She seemed in attitude a lot like horses who are long suffering like many horses, dogs and cats who have accepted there predicament as being (not the same as a regular human being, and yet in her case she was a regular human being stuck on a horse body. Then her sister or mother who was a regular human being told me I could rent a vehicle to travel around this Disneyland space which was about 20 times larger than the Disneyland in Anaheim, California and was set in nature along a coast with roads that reminded me a little of the California coast up Hiway 1 from Morro Bay to Big Sur and on hiway 1 north of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. So, I said I'd like to see the vehicle. I was sort of surprised what they brought out because it came compact and then folded out and was electric powered with basically two seats for adults out in the open with the wheels and motor underneath. It looked like it could do about 15 or 20 mph and wasn't built for dealing with a lot of heavy traffic because you really had no protection if you hit something. So, it was really more like a 3 wheeled bicycle that fit 2 people that was electric powered more than anything else.

I talked to the girl and asked her what it was like to be like this. She took it in stride and said she got a lot of attention to people. I asked her what happened and she told me that she was a genetic experiment that worked. She wasn't sure whether more like her would be allowed to be created or not. I sort of hoped more like her would be created, for her sake more than anything else so she would have companions that understood what it was like to be her. So, there would be others like her to be able to communicate and laugh with.
