The Problem with Alibaba

The problem with Alibaba is likely going to be the same problem the western world has been having with China over Solar Cells. China decided to be the world monopoly on Solar cells and decided to undercut the U.S. and Europe (and everyone else on earth) in regard to price. This harmed most solar Cell producers both inside and outside of China.

However, by selling solar cells at cost and driving all producers of solar cells either into bankruptcy or having to be supported to some degree by their host governments so they wouldn't go bankrupt, they also harmed China's own solar cell makers and many now have gone bankrupt in the process. However, China still has control of Solar Cells worldwide because China the corporation nation state is in charge.

I expect Alibaba to try to destroy amazon.com, Ebay, Yahoo, Google and every other internet company in the U.S. and Western World.

Alibaba is only another Chinese monopoly trying to defeat the western world and destroy all competition by undercutting everyone else and sponsored by the Chinese government.

It is an act of economic war upon the western world.

Will the average American and European use it?

Likely. But if this is allowed expect all western Internet companies to falter and go out of business within about 10 years time and the cause will be Alibaba.

Think about where the name came from for a moment:

"Alibaba and the 40 Thieves"

This is the Arabian Nights tale of Alibaba discovering the hiding place for the booty of the 40 Thieves.

And in this case the booty for the 40 thieves will come from the U.S. and Europe if the U.S. and Europe allows this to happen.
