Greenfield is starting to put at 900 dollars each body cams on each of it's police officers to wear to record all events regarding out in the field police work with contact with citizens.
Salinas and Gonzales and other police departments are also testing Police Body Cams. This is part of the national and possibly international reaction to what is happening in Ferguson as this movement for better communication between citizens and police nationwide and possibly worldwide at this point. If recordings are made of all situations then people afterwords have a better tool hopefully to know what actually happened in court cases in the future.
The information regarding Greenfield, Gonzales and Salinas and other towns was on KSBW today, December 1st 2014.
