If you have a system worldwide that touches all people (or at least all who use cell phones, laptops, Ipads etc.) then it naturally will take away all human rights eventually.
You might ask "Why?"
The reason is simple though for many hard to grasp.
The reason is human life is based upon privacy and trust.
The Internet takes away all privacy and you cannot trust what some people are going to do with what they learn about you worldwide.
In a perfectly ideal world 95% of the people could trust each other and be relatively kind. This kind of world if it was digital might be survivable long term.
However, we don't live in a world like that. We live in a world with extreme cultural differences that "SOME" people are willing to kill and die for.
Because of this the natural progression of the Digital Internet World is that eventually it will slowly take away all rights and trust between people. It will be subtle how this is done. We saw it recently with Sony. Now all movies that were to be made regarding North Korea have been stopped in their tracks.
There are no movies critical or made in a parody of North Korean any longer being made. George Clooney is right. Unless we all stand up together we all lose our rights.
It is true that universal education of all mankind is also possible through the Internet with places like Khan Academy and all the major universities putting online courses of many of their studies online.
However, simultaneously we have backward nations like North Korea creating groups of their brightest and best who have been brainwashed since birth to worship their leader as a God and to hate America and Europe and all free countries on pain of death. So, the whole populace is sort of schizophrenic from brainwashing. Suicide must be rampant there and also starvation and malnutrition.
So, a nation of starving crazy people is now dictating like a Dictator what Americans can think and watch and see and read?
This is why in the end the Internet will eventually take away all human rights in every country on earth if we let it.
Let's not let it do that.
The only way I know for sure to end this is to end the Internet.
The benefits of the Internet are not worth the end of human rights worldwide.
What would the end of human rights look like?
People likely would have to stop talking to each other in fear of offending people talking about anything. And this likely would be worldwide.
Because in the end, anything you talk about would be offensive to someone. Even your very existence is going to be offensive to someone on earth.
This is the real problem with how our rights are slowly ending through the Internet now ongoing.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
