I began to get tendonitis by about age 32 because of doing a lot of Electrical and Construction work with my Dad Summers from age 12 to age 17 and then again at 21 when I worked with him a year when I was taking a break from college and my computer programming career then. And later I realized I wanted to have my own business so I got a Contractor's license which allowed me to work when there were jobs and travel when there weren't enough jobs then during my late 20s. So, by the time I was 32 my hands hurt most of the time from lifting up to 400 pounds at a time. When I was young (18 to 22) I could easily lift up the front of my 1965 or later my 1966 BUG when I was stuck in snow or mud and walked it around about 90 degrees or even 180 degrees if I needed to to get out of any situation. However, I realized by 25 that this could be dangerous to my back if I moved wrong and so stopped doing this. Also, I could press 1000 pounds on a weight machine with my legs as my legs were very strong from being 6 foot 5 inches tall and being half Scottish and big boned. But, when my hands began hurting all the time at 32 I was pretty unhappy with this outcome especially if it was cold outside or really cold and wet and snowy.
So, by my 50s I just expected to have pain in my body a lot of the time and thought this was just a part of growing old. Then about 1 1/2 or 2 years ago I discovered I was allergic to gluten all my life and that this is actually where most of this pain was coming from.
So, when I gave up all gluten I became more pain free than I had been since I was about 21 to 25 years old. It was sort of like reincarnating into a new and younger body. Also, the brain swelling every time I ate gluten in bread or pasta or cakes or cupcakes or whatever didn't happen anymore either. So, this was a revelation to me.
But, even people not allergic to gluten often experience this "Pain Free" reality too and stop taking ANY pain medications at all unless they are injured. So, on an every day basis basically if I'm not physically injured in some way I NEVER take pain medications ever nor do I need to.
So, this is one of the primary reasons besides allergies like I have that people eventually give up all gluten.
I find I don't like Gluten free foods as much either so this causes me to constantly be losing weight at a very slow rate too which makes me very happy too. So, if you can't find a way to slowly keep losing weight all the time going gluten free might work for you too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
