June 24th: 1000 poor Pakistanis dead in 72 hours

1. 265 of these are unclaimed bodies with no identification. A volunteer group has taken the bodies off the street by the EDHI foundation. the worst dates for deaths were June 20th to June 26th.Cnn is reporting also that it is at least 1200 dead now and 65,000 people treated for heatstroke in Karachi, Pakistan so far. The problem has been the monsoons are late (or not coming this year) so they have the heat without the cooling quality of the rain which is deadly as you can see. Almost no rain at all also in South Korea so people are worried too about the lack of monsoon rains this year all over that area of the world. So, you have 94% humidity at present and a lot of heat. This is a real killer. People can survive dry heat but not at this level of humidity in Karachi Pakistan. CNN weatherman reporting that the combination of heat and humidity gave a real heat index of 141 degrees Fahrenheit which is not surprising at this point why so many died with that high of a heat index if they couldn't get to ice or air conditioning right then.
