I think this is very unlikely because of Putin and China. The U.S. cannot afford to get much more involved in the Middle East because it has to watch out for the newest Cold War with Russia and China. So, our resources likely aren't going to be used (especially soldiers on the ground) because of our lack of success with both Iraq and Afghanistan. Like Rumsfeld said, "Turning Iraq into a democracy is pretty unrealistic". and it has been. Iraq is not a democracy. It is a Shia dictatorship masquerading as a democracy that might as well be a part of Iran which I think what is left of it likely will be formally in the future.
So, "Will the U.S. get more involved in Middle East Conflicts?"
Likely the answer is "No!" unless there are strategic interests involved that I'm not aware of at present.
However, it is different for Europe and Great Britain because they live right next to this thing only separated by little bits of water here and there like Gibraltar from Africa. So, likely the European Union or Great Britain and individual European nations might well get more involved in these conflicts as they spread more and more people are drowning trying to get across to Europe from the Middle East and Africa.
As this great humanitarian catastrophe gets worse in the Middle East and northern Africa all of Europe will have to get involved just to survive it.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
