Overpopulation causes Global Warming causes potential extinctions

This is the vicious cycle life on earth is at at present regarding humans. We have been too successful at surviving and reproducing and now the numbers of us threaten the existence of all of us. The planet really can only sustain about 1 billion maximum of us for any length of time(thousands of years). So, earth is presently out of balance in this sense which is causing mass extinctions of all species of creatures including in some cases humans in some areas.

This likely will get a lot worse in this century with all sorts of aberrant things happening while the ecology and civilization try to find a new balance.

So, even though the last century was marked with World War I and World War II and the KOrean War and the Viet Nam WAr it is likely that Food and resource wars with people fighting to have water and food and oil to survive will occur ongoing in this century until some kind of new balance is reached at some point in the near or far future.

Will any humans survive all this into the future?

Governments and civilizations are not designed to deal really with overpopulation.

Overpopulation is sort of an aberration in human civilizations always. Before 1900 this didn't occur that much without plagues or wars over resources wiping 1/3 or more of the people out and attaining some sort of new balance. This even happened in europe if you study history when rats spread the plague around various times and over 1/3 of the people often died in these plague cycles.

However, now with vaccinations we prevent these plagues which prevented long term overpopulation cycles to occur in various areas. Though on an individual level this is very humane on a mass level we are only creating eventually the extinction of all of us.

So, the only humane way I think to deal with this is to make birth control more compulsory worldwide. The problem with this is most people aren't educated enough to understand this necessity for all humans to survive so they are going to fight back and demand to have as many children as they want.

But then, those children aren't going to get jobs, might become criminals or terrorists and act to tear down civilization wherever they are.

So, in the end the only useful solution to this will be mandatory birth control worldwide at some point.

The other alternative is to watch the planet nuke out of existence caused by overpopulation and the rage and anger that will come from growing up without enough food and water.
