when you are young sometimes you think you are going to live forever
But then, one by one your friends die or go away to live in another town or state
Or they get married or you get married or you lose touch with them
Then you don't feel so immortal anymore
But then, if you have kids often you feel immortal through them
And you watch yourself grow up again through them if you are lucky
I remember watching "Peter Pan" with my older daughter when she was 3
about 150 times because this is what she wanted over 6 months to a year
to the point where I could remember every single line before it was said.
(The Disney Version)
Then they grow up and move away and have lives of their own
And you are left with your spouse if you are lucky
To dream new dreams and to go new places until your grandkids are born
and then if you are lucky you dream with them and help them invent the future for them
to live in.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
