Whether you are for or against Obamacare, Gay marriage or bringing the Confederate flag down in South Carolina and throughout the south, you have to all agree on one thing: "There is a whole lot of historic change going on. So, either you are gleeful or really upset and one or all of these changes.
However, it's happening no matter what you feel. And it is historic sort of like when President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Bill.
Obamacare may be going in a similar direction now that Social Security and Medicare went along the way. So, it likely will continue to exist in some form or other for the next 100 years just like Social Security has been here since the 1930s during the Great depression when a majority of people didn't live to 62 or even 65 to begin to collect it.
During the Collapse of the Soviet Union there was a song that came out, "It's the End of the World as we know it, and I feel fine."
Maybe this song is more appropriate once again now.
But, it is important to recognize change is always both good and bad.
It's like Descartes once said,
"There is nothing so good that no bad may come of it
and there is nothing so bad that no good may come of it."
And this is what my experience of life has taught me too.
But, it has also taught me to be compassionate to myself and all others.
So, that is what I try to do.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
